Adult Pottery - 2 classes this session

Wednesday evenings 6:00-9:00 pm, Oct 12 – Nov. 16

Friday afternoons 11-2, Oct. 14 – Nov. 18

Cost: $195 (materials and firings included)
Mature teens are welcome to join!
Students will be instructed in the making of clay forms on the pottery wheel and utilizing various hand-building techniques to make tiles, boxes, and functional items.  No prior experience is required and self-directed projects will be facilitated with the help of the instructor.

Beginner Watercolor Painting for Grade 6-12

Fridays 3:30- 5:00 Oct 14 – Nov 18

Cost:  $95 (materials included)

Students will learn techniques to unlock the magic and mystery of this versatile medium. They will learn brush and wash techniques, color mixing, value, and more. This class will teach basics that will provide confidence to pursue painting at home. Professional materials and handouts provided. All skill levels welcome.

The instructor, Lucie Wellner, was raised in Pompey and often paints the local rural landscapes around here. She has exhibited at the Gandee Gallery and her work may be viewed at www.luciewellner.com.

Our Current Classes

Students will be instructed in the making of clay forms on the pottery wheel and utilizing various hand-building techniques to make tiles, boxes, and functional items. No prior experience is required and self-directed projects will be facilitated with the help of the instructor.
