Ed Feldman

A native Central New Yorker, Ed Feldman studied ceramics at The State University of New York at Cortland. After graduating, he worked as a studio assistant to his mentor John Jessiman. He has taught at studios in Manhattan, New York, as well as at Cornell University and Syracuse University. His work can be found in the permanent collection of the International Ceramics Museum in Foshan China as well as private collections in Korea, Japan, Europe, Mexico, and the United States. He has exhibited at the national juried cup show at the University of Arkansas, Monticello, and at History in the Making, a national juried show in Rochester, New York.

Our Current Classes

Sign up for pottery classes!

The studio is fully equipped with 5 pottery wheels, work tables, and electric and raku kilns. Students will be instructed in the making of clay forms on the pottery wheel and utilizing various hand-building techniques to make tiles, boxes, and functional items. No prior experience is required and self-directed projects will be facilitated with the help of the instructor.
